Security sits at the intersection of safety, service and presentation. The officer on a reception desk is frequently the first person a visitor meets and the last line of response when something goes wrong, and the contract needs to account for both.
Security is a directly managed division. Our security personnel are recruited, vetted, trained and supervised by Hyde, and hold current SIA licences for the roles they perform. Contract management, performance monitoring and client accountability all sit with us.
Managing security directly means we control recruitment standards, vetting, training and supervision rather than inheriting another company's. It also means officers can be briefed alongside our maintenance, cleaning and workplace teams, which matters on sites where those functions overlap daily.
Where a contract calls for specialist technical capability, such as CCTV system installation or alarm receiving centre monitoring, we work with accredited specialists under our own contract management. We are explicit with procurement teams about which elements those are.

Corporate Concierge
Front of house officers combining security awareness with reception, visitor management and customer service, appropriate to corporate and multi tenant environments.
Mobile Patrols & Lock Up
Scheduled and random mobile patrols, opening and closing services and alarm response, provided where a permanent on site presence is not required.
CCTV Support
Coordination of CCTV provision, monitoring arrangements and maintenance, with data handling arrangements aligned to UK GDPR requirements.
Access Control
Support for access control systems, permissions management, pass issuing and coordination with the wider maintenance contract for system upkeep.
Key Holding & Response
Key holding and alarm response managed by Hyde, with agreed attendance expectations, escalation routes and incident reporting.
Visitor & Contractor Management
Sign in procedures, contractor induction support and permit coordination, integrated with the maintenance permit to work process.
Security Management
Assignment instructions, supervision, contract oversight, performance review and incident reporting held centrally by Hyde across all security provision.
Event & Temporary Cover
Short term and event security cover for planned activity, resourced from our own team and supplemented at agreed notice periods where volume requires it.
